Salt River Nursing was founded by Wyatt Matteson, BSN. Wyatt grew up in a small town and in a close-knit family that valued community, hard work, and service to others. Wyatt's interest in nursing began early through volunteering at local nursing homes. He felt a deep calling to provide care in a more personal manner early on.
After graduating high school, he attended Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At Viterbo, he cultivated that deep sense of personal nursing care into a strong foundation in holistic, patient-centered care.
He brought this foundation to Afton, WY, and launched Salt River Nursing, a personalized nursing service tailored to the unique needs of the region and its residents. Wyatt's small-town beginnings, education, and experience are the deep roots of his approach, values, and compassion.
Mission
At Salt River Nursing, We know that navigating the medical system between home, hospital, and supportive care is hard to understand.
